AUGUST 2024Butterfly Daze — Friends of Jimmy Carter National Historical Park
A weekend-long event celebrating the life and legacy of former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, held August 16–18, 2024, in Plains, GA. I designed the full print collateral system for the event, including a large-format poster, rack card, and tri-fold brochure — all built around one cohesive visual identity: a vintage floral collage motif paired with archival black-and-white photography of Rosalynn Carter by Ken Hawkins.
Deliverables:
Poster — full weekend schedule at a glance, anchored by bold vintage-inspired type and the pressed-flower/butterfly collage treatment
Rack card — condensed, take-away version for local distribution ahead of the event
Tri-fold brochure — the detailed day-by-day program, including session times, speakers, locations, and contact/ticketing information across all three event days
The floral and butterfly collage imagery ties directly to the Rosalynn Smith Carter Childhood Garden and the event’s signature Butterfly Release, giving the whole system a unified, on-theme identity across every touchpoint attendees would encounter — from first seeing the poster to holding the full program in hand.
